HydroSal™ Fresh: For a Better Night’s Sleep
HydroSal™ technology encapsulates and sustains natural fragrances for water based spray applications. Several new HydroSal™ products have been commercialized recently.
In December of 2008, a leading multinational brand company in the personal care and wellness market launched a product "Deep Sleep" that offers an aromatherapy infused with HydroSal™. The technology sustains the release and relaxing therapy from bed ware over several days following activation by contact with the skin.
The HydroSal™ technology can also be infused with a variety of: perfumes, antiseptics, shine agents, and other topical functional ingredients commonly used for skin and hair surface protection, to produce clear, water based sprays that are cost effective.
Delivery Systems for Soap Bars
Check the new report of delivery Systems for soap bars. "Delivery System in Treatment Bar Soaps" by Curt Durfee and Barbara Devine, Twincraft Soap, published on C&T magazine, Nov. 2008.
The paper describes, how MultiSal™ delivery systems are used to overcome technical and application challenges when formulating bar soaps using skin functional ingredients. The paper describes the structure and function of the delivery system, and how these are used to enhance functionality if soap bar, such as: adhere function ingredients onto the skin in a way that resist rinsing. The positively charged polymers and the ideal size of the beads are used to deposit functional ingredients onto the skin. The release of the functional ingredients is sustained from the delivery system for several hours to result with more officious and safe products.
