The Cosmetic Topical Delivery workshop will take place on April 20, 2009 in Munich, Germany. Just 1 day prior to the In-Cosmetics EXPO.

Salvona Technologies & Spongeables Launch New Product
Salvona Technologies Inc. has teamed up with Spongeables LLC. and launched a "Super Hydrated" hand sponge. The sponge simultaneously cleanses, reduces wrinkles, acts as an antioxidant, and treats cracked cuticles. Salvona’s "SalSphere™ Seaweed" is the functional intermediate that is infused within the sponge to offer these features. The delivery system and the sponge are designed to last 20 washes.
"SalSphere™ Seaweed" enhances the deposition and sustained release of moisturizing agents on the skin from a rinse-off application.
The outer shell of the sub-micron sphere deliver the humectants, Rhodymenia Palmate (dulse) and Ulva Lactuca (sea lettuce), that are attached onto the surface of the beads and provides a condensed structure bound to water, thereby delivering organic ingredients to the living cell.
The core of the sub-micron spheres is designed to sustain the delivery of ingredients such as: Glycerin, Vitamin E, and ceramides for a long term moisturizing effect with an elegant feel.
This technology is applicable for other formulations such as: skin lotion, creams, and rinse-off products.
